"Makadoo" TV Show Pilot (Ulkutay)
Between 2011 and 2013, I held the role of Senior Lead TD at Ulkutay Creative in Istanbul, where I was responsible for leading the creative and technical direction of some of the studio’s most demanding commercial productions. At Ulkutay Creative, one of my standout achievements was leading the technical and creative development of the “Makadoo” pilot edition, where I served as Senior Lead TD across every major stage of production. I was responsible for the full rigging, rendering, and compositing pipeline, building complex character setups and ensuring they performed seamlessly within the animated environment. This project demanded a high level of technical precision and visual storytelling, and I played a central role in defining the overall look and feel, while also solving challenging production bottlenecks under tight deadlines.
My work at Ulkutay spanned every major phase of high-end TV commercial development, from on-set VFX supervision to lighting, rigging, rendering, compositing, and effects, often owning the entire technical pipeline. I really enjoyed being involved in shaping the visual and creative identity of multiple flagship campaigns, including the “Makadoo” pilot and a series of prominent commercials for brands like Ozmo and Buyumix. I led the visual and technical execution for “Ozmo Club,” “Ozmo Cornet,” and “Ozmo Cornet Strawberry,” driving look development and effects while managing both pre-production and on-set workflows.
